Cookie and browser storage notice

Interface preferences: your chosen language and light or dark theme are saved in your browser's local storage so the site opens the way you left it. These values never identify you and are not sent to us.

Translation cache: once an interface language has been generated, the translated interface strings are cached in your browser so switching language is instant and costs nothing on later visits.

Operational storage: temporary object URLs, in-memory file buffers and download handles are created while a tool runs and are discarded when the tab is closed.

There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, no fingerprinting scripts and no profiling of your document contents.

Because only essential storage is used, no consent banner is required for it; where any non-essential technology is introduced in future, prior consent will be sought in accordance with the DPDP Act, 2023 and it will be listed here first.

Hosting infrastructure records standard technical information such as IP address, timestamp, request path, browser and device type and error events. These logs keep the service available and secure and support incident response obligations under the CERT-In Directions dated 28 April 2022, including maintaining ICT logs for a rolling one hundred and eighty days.

Logs are not used for advertising or to inspect document contents.

You can clear cookies, site data and local storage from your browser settings at any time, or use a private window to avoid persistent preferences. Clearing site data resets your language, theme and translation cache, and closing a tab discards unsaved work in progress.

Most browsers also let you block storage per site. The tools continue to work, but preferences will not be remembered.
